Education
Gregg knows that the best path forward in Connecticut if for us to invest responsibly in our future. Our business leaders have told us they need an educated workforce and a much-improved transportation system. We can deliver that along with initiatives that help working people. That's why we increased the minimum wage, passed an affordable and sustainable paid family leave program and established paid sick days for most of CT's employees to ensure that everyone benefits from our growing economy.

The Environment
Gregg has advocated for sustainable and responsible budget decisions that emphasize paying off crippling long-term debt while investing in programs that are critical to Connecticut's economy. Consequently, state finances are under control for the first time in decades and the legislature has directed billions of surplus dollars into early debt payments. To help working and middle-income families, Gregg supported the largest tax cut in state history with relief targeted to low and middle-income families that need it most..
